Privacy Policy

The purpose of the present privacy policy is to provide basic information regarding processing and protection of personal data provided by the users of ziaja.com website.

The ziaja.com website (hereinafter: the Website) is operated by Ziaja Ltd Zakład Produkcji leków sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Gdańsk at ul. Jesienna 9 (80 – 298 Gdańsk), entered in the Register of Entrepreneurs kept by the District Court for Gdańsk-Północ in Gdańsk, Division VII of National Court Register (KRS) under number 0000021573, VAT registration number (NIP) 584 020 11 86, statistical registration number (REGON) 008102970, share capital of PLN 1,000,000.00.

Personal data provided by Website users with relation to using the Website shall be processed by Ziaja Ltd Zakład Produkcji leków sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Gdańsk at ul. Jesienna 9 (80 – 298 Gdańsk) as the controller of personal data so provided within the meaning of:
1. Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/CE (O.J. EU L 2016.119.1) (GDPR), and
2. Act of 29 August 1997 on Personal Data Protection (in Polish Official Journal Dz.U. 2016, item 922, as amended.).

With relation to using the Website, whenever a user should intend to subscribe to the newsletter, they will be required to provide their personal data, in particular their e-mail address. The user may grant consent to receiving electronically, at the e-mail address provided by them, commercial information within the meaning of section 10(1) of the Act of 18 July 2002 on Services Provided by Electronic Means (in Polish Official Journal Dz.U. 2017, item 1219, as amended) from Ziaja Ltd Zakład Produkcji Leków sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Gdańsk at ul. Jesienna 9 (80 – 298 Gdańsk), for the purposes of distribution its newsletter.

Personal data is given freely but providing the same is necessary for the purposes of receiving the newsletter or using the services and selected functionalities of the Website.

Personal data, in particular data consisting in e-mail address, provided by the Website’s users in the process of signing up to receive commercial information, shall be processed for the purposes of services provided by electronic means, purposes related to operation of the Service, and, upon the user’s separate consent, for marketing purposes.

Website user has the right to access the contents of their personal data and the right to amendment, rectification and erasure of the same, restriction of processing of the same, the right to data portability, the right to object, and the right to withdraw the present consent without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

Moreover, Website user has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority if they believe that their personal data are processed in contravention of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/CE (O.J. EU L 2016.119.1) (GDPR).

Personal data provided by Website user shall be processed pursuant to article 6.1(a) of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/CE (O.J. EU L 2016.119.1) (GDPR) and pursuant to section 23(1)(1) of the Act of 29 August 1997 on Protection of Personal Data Protection (in Polish Official Journal Dz.U. 2016, item 922, as amended).

Personal data of Website user shall be stored until the user revokes their consent to processing of their data.

When the Website is accessed, the administrator’s system automatically collects: the IP address, which is recorded in login trail. Such data are collected exclusively for statistical purposes and are anonymous. In addition to the IP address, the system collects data from cookie files.

Cookies are small (in particular: text) files which are stored on a user’s device (i.e. computer, smartphone, tablet) in order to, inter alia, allow the user to benefit from all functionalities of the Website. They also allow statistical data regarding the Website to be collected, which enables the Website’s future development. Cookies do not alter the device settings and are in no way harmful to either the device or any software installed thereon. Cookies can be deleted and blocked by following respective instructions of the web browser used.

Cookies embedded on the device by the administrator’s system are divided into:

- session cookies – used to record the user’s actions while using the Website. Inability to have session cookies stored on the device does not affect the Website’s functionalities, but can partly hinder the use of some of its elements. Cookies are deleted from the browser’s cache once the Website access ends (i.e. when the user leave the Website or closes the browser).

Administrator shall make every effort to ensure effective protection of all personal data processed. Data transferred from the site to the operator’s server are secured by SSL encryption. In processing personal data, the administrator employs organisational and technical measures compliant with Polish law in order to prevent unauthorised processing of such data and accidental loss of, destruction of or damage to data.

Personal data shall not be transferred outside the territory of the European Union.
Personal data of a Customer can be transferred to the following categories of third-party recipients: service providers supplying Ziaja Ltd Zakład Produkcji Leków sp. z o.o. with technical and organisational solutions which enable provision of services consisting in distribution of newsletters and management of the Ziaja Ltd Zakład Produkcji Leków sp. z o.o. organisation (in particular providers of information and communication technology services, courier delivery companies and postal services providers, as well as advertising companies) for the purposes of proper performance of such services;
